In the event of disputes between lawyers and their clients, the possibility exists to seek out-of-court dispute resolution proceedings before the Frankfurt Bar Association (Rechtsanwaltskammer Frankfurt am Main) pursuant to Section 73 para. 2 no. 3 in conjunction with Section 73 para. 5 of the German Federal Lawyers Act (BRAO), or before the Lawyers' Arbitration Board (Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft) pursuant to Section 191f BRAO. The lawyers are neither obliged nor generally willing to participate in consumer dispute resolution proceedings.
